Gluten Free Bread Machine Bread
This recipe will make a small Loaf
In this recipe the liquid ingredients are weighed rather than measured.
Ingredients
5 oz goat’s milk (155 g)
¾ teaspoon vinegar
1oz groundnut oil (30 g)
1 egg
8 oz wheat/gluten free bread flour (240 g)
1 tablespoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon yeast
Method
Weigh the oil and milk together into a bowl
Whisk in the vinegar and egg and then pour into the bread machine bowl.
Weigh the flour, place on top of the liquid followed by the sugar and salt. Lastly sprinkle the yeast on top of the whole mixture.
Start bread machine on normal programme
To help the mixture to mix you can lift the lid after 3-5 minutes and using a plastic spatula scrape the dough down the sides of the tin. I have also mixed all the ingredients in a large bowl and then placed into bread machine bowl.
Once cooked place the bread on a cooling rack and then wrap in grease proof paper and place in a sealed box.
This bread is very nice on day 1 but does not tend to keep very well after 2 days.
