Fried Curried Fish

This can be served as a starter or as a light lunch with salad.

My neighbour Indra used sea bass for this recipe but other fish such as cod, haddock, pollack, whiting and gurnard could be used.

Pre heat deep fat fryer to 180c

1 deep fat fryer

Ingredients

2 fillets of fish of your choice
Fish curry powder
Pinch salt

Method

Firstly, clean the fish and cut into thin strips

Place the fish curry powder into a bowl and add a pinch of salt to the powder and give it all a stir.

Using your hands, coat the fish with the powder and place onto a separate plate,

When ready place the fish into the deep fat fryer – only a few pieces at a time.  Fry for a couple of minutes – or until fish is sufficiently cooked.
