Pork & Chicken Meatballs in a Tomato Sauce

This recipe will make 14 medium sized meatballs
In this recipe I have used wheat free breadcrumbs, if you do not have wheat intolerance you can use Matzo Meal or ordinary breadcrumbs. You can either make your own wheat free breadcrumbs or buy them from a supermarket.
If you would prefer to use lamb and or beef instead of the meat that I have used then please do so.
1 wide flameproof casserole or pan
Ingredients
1 medium onion
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 chicken breast
2 boneless pork strips
1 320 g jar of Dolmio original bolognaise sauce
2 fl oz water
1 egg
3 tablespoons of wheat free breadcrumbs
Salt & freshly milled black pepper
Method
Mince all the meat including the onion. Then in the same bowl add the crushed garlic, oregano, egg, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Give everything a good mix until the mixture all comes together. Then simply take small amounts of the mixture and roll into medium sized balls.
Add the Dolmio sauce to your pan along with the water and then give everything a good stir. Bring mixture to the boil then add your meatballs to the pan – do not stir at this point as the meatballs may break up.
Leave bubbling for 20 minutes turning the meatballs half way through.
This dish can be served with rice or new potatoes.
