Bread & Butter Pudding
(Serves 4 people)
Pre-heat oven to Gas Mark 5 / 190°c / 375°f
2 pint baking dish
Ingredients
8 oz wheat/gluten free bread flour (240 g)
Goat’s butter or dairy free spread – (just enough for spreading on the bread)
½ pint goat’s milk (300 ml)
½ oz sultanas (15 g)
1 oz sugar (30 g)
2 eggs
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Method
Firstly, butter the bread both sides and then either cut into triangles or chop roughly.
Place the bread in the dish along with the sugar, sultanas, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Beat the eggs and milk together and pour the mixture over everything in your dish.
Cook on the middle shelf for 25 minutes
